Pamela M. Copeland, Esq.
Pamela Copeland is a graduate of Rutgers-Newark Law School where she was Administrative Editor of The Women’s Rights Law Reporter and published several articles. She is certified by the New Jersey Supreme Court as a Matrimonial Law Attorney, a member of the first such class of certified specialists.
Pamela was actively involved in the Vicinage XIII New Jersey Family Law Inn of Court from its inception. Over the years, Pamela has been appointed to various family law task forces and committees by the New Jersey State Bar Association and the New Jersey Supreme Court, including the Family Division Practice Committee. She is a former Somerset County Trustee to the New Jersey State Bar Association, served twice on the NJSBA Family Law Section’s Executive Committee, is a past president of the Somerset County Bar Association, and a past Chair of the NJSBA Women’s Rights Section (now known as the Women in the Profession Section).
In 2002, Pamela was honored as an Outstanding Woman in Somerset County by the Somerset County Commission on the Status of Women. She has taken numerous continuing legal education courses in the field and has lectured for ICLE and various county bar association family law committees.
Pamela is on the list of Court-approved economic mediators and is trained in collaborative law. She was named a Super Lawyer in the Family Law area and one of the Top 50 Women Lawyers in the New Jersey Monthly magazine.
